Eight Team Members Receive Employee of the Month Honors for July 2004
(Springfield, VA) Interstate Worldwide Relocation today announced the selection of its July 2004 Employees of the Month for its Springfield, Virginia, and Landover, Maryland facilities, recognizing chosen employees for their superior performance and commitment to providing Top Hat Service.
At Interstate's Springfield headquarters, the following individuals received honors:
- Mover of the Month, Chris Hudson, an employee since January 2004 and a two-time award winner for 2004
- Packer of the Month, Maggie Sheppard, who recently celebrated her 28th anniversary with the company, and has been awarded the Packer of the Month award every month in 2004
- Helper of the Month, Manuel Alegre, an employee since 2002
- Administrative Employee of the Month, Carmen Seminario, Move Management Specialist for Interstate's GSA Move Management division since 2001
At Interstate's Landover facility:
- Mover of the Month, Russell Anderson, an employee since 2002
- Packer of the Month, Jaton Davenport, an employee since May 2000 and
also a two-time award winner in 2004
- Helper of the Month, Mandrill Edelin, an employee since 2002 and winner
of the honor four times in 2004
Corey Bernsdorff received the July 2004 Long Distance Driver of the Month honor. Bernsdorff, a contract driver from Utah, joined the Interstate team in March 2004.
"It is only with the hard work of each and every employee that Interstate continues to prosper. We're proud to recognize these individuals who put forth the extra effort that earned them the Employee of the Month awards," said Interstate President Buddy Morrissette.
